Fees

We hate collecting late fees and love it when everything comes back on time! The Urbana Free Library late fees are:

• Videos, DVDs, CD-ROMs, and kits - 50¢ per day
• Everything else in the Adult Services - 10¢ per day
• Everything else in the Children's Department - 10¢ per day

We charge late fees for all overdue interlibrary loan items.

The Library also charges fees for the replacement of long overdue materials, damaged materials, and the replacement of items returned with missing contents.

Please note: If library materials become long overdue, or an outstanding balance is substantial, library fees may be referred to a collection agency.
