The library has a collection of large print materials, including best sellers, biographies, Christian authors, and magazines.

Audiobooks

If you prefer to listen to books, the library has an impressive collection of audiobooks on tape and disc.

The library also offers 24/7 access to eBooks, audiobooks, and videos through My Media Mall. Choose from hundreds of titles that can be downloaded to your home computer, your PDA, MP3, or your iPod.

The Mid-Illinois Talking Book Center provides a FREE audio library service to central Illinois residents whose low vision, blindness, or physical limitation makes it difficult to read. Application forms are available at the adult reference desk (367-4405) on the second floor.

Home Delivery

If you have a physical condition that prevents you from coming to the library, and if you are a City of Urbana resident, you may qualify for the library’s very convenient home delivery service.

Library cardholders residing in Clark-Lindsey Village, Canterbury Ridge, and Prairie Winds retirement centers may also receive supplemental delivery and pickup of library materials.

Located on the second floor of the library, the Archives has a diverse array of resources to help you with your local history and genealogy research.

Flex-N-Gate Computer Center

The library has several senior workstations equipped with large-screen monitors, all with access to the Internet and Microsoft Office applications.

You can also search for online articles and more to find reliable sources for information and leisure reading. Many of the sources available in the library can also be accessed from your home.
