Adam Sharp Swimming With Sharks
by George Edward Stanley.

This book is about a secret agent who goes to Burmuda, because he heard there are sharks that are biting the bottoms of boats. I liked this book because he is smart and cute and cool and sometimes modest. Also always wears a tuxedo.

by Eoin Colfer.

This book is about a twelve-year-old criminal mastermind, and to make it even worse he is a genius. He is determined to steal the money from the fairies who live underground. Now these are not nice fairies. When Artemis kidnaps a Captain Fairy and starts a Fairy War, will he ever get the gold and defeat the fairies? I liked this book because it was surprising. I thought faeries would be nice but surprisingly they were like an army. I think geniuses would like this book. I also think people who like adventures and people who like surprises would like this book.

Emily is new in town and goes into the woods deep in a clearing she finds a girl and a talking ferret! Well he says he's an elf from another world transformed into the body of a ferret.Something is burning the animals but what?Join Emily, Ozzie, Adriane and Kara in this action packed adventure. I liked this book because I love adventures and magic. Any kid who likes magic will like this book.

This book is about a kid named Twig who's on an adventure to become a sky pirate. I liked this book because its got so many strange and scary creatures that Twig runs into during his adventure. I think third through sixth graders would like this book.

Claudia knew that she could never pull of the old fashioned kind of running away...so, she decided to run not from somewhere but to somewhere. Somewhere large, warm, comfortable and besutiful. And that was how Claudia and her brother Jamie ended up living in the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and right in the middle of a mystery that made headlines. I liked this book because I just could never put it down! It was one story after another. I would totally give this to anyone that can read.

Hatchet
by Gary Paulsen.

This book is about a boy whose parents are divorced and gets in a plane crash going to his dad in Canada. The pilot dies and he has to learn to survive in the woods. I liked this book because it's very adventurous and full of nature and suspense. Someone who loves adventure would like this book.

It is about a girl that likes dolphins. She goes on a boat with her parents. She sees a dolphin up close. She named him Apollo. One day she's in their boat and it's raining. She falls overboard! She sees a big fin! She doesn't know if it is a shark or not. Then she finds out it's Apollo! Apollo saves her life. I liked this book because I really like dolphins. I like dolphins that save people. I like all books that have real dolphin characters.

Island of the Aunts
by Eva Ibbotson.

This book is about the sisters who are getting too old to take care of the island. After they kidnap 3 kids and a giant spirit comes to them for help and puts a huge responsibility in their hands, can only the sisters and two young children keep the secret island hidden from a greedy man who wants to make money by selling all the magical animals to zoos and getting the sisters arrested for kidnapping? Or was it kidnapping? I liked this book because it has suspense and adventure and made me start to believe in magical things. I think anyone who likes magic, Harry Potter books would like this book.

James and the Giant Peach
by Roald Dahl.

This book is about a boy who travels across the ocean in giant peach with giant bugs. I like this book because I really like bugs and I like the way the author wrote about the adventures. I think everybody would really enjoy this book.

King of the Wind
by Marguerite Henry.

This book is about a horse and a horse boy in a sultan's stables. Agba, the mute boy and the horse Sham were chosen as one of the best six horses that the sultan is going to present to the King of France. When Sham was born Agba promised that the multitudes would bow before him and would be King of the Wind. I liked this book because there is a lot of adventure. You can also learn something from it. It also won the Newbery Award. If you like animals you will also like this book. Somebody who likes fiction books and adventure will like this book.

The Legend of Holly Claus

This book is about a girl named Holly Claus, daughter of Santa, is cursed that she has to stay in the cold. Holly goes on an action-packed adventure including cheerful friends, a diguised villian and a true love. I of course liked this book. I **loved ** this book because it is a story that sends you flying in to another world, meeting daring creatures. I think Santa Claus (Holly's father) would like this book.

This book is about two kids going back in time to Paris to find the four new magicians and save them from an evil wizard. I liked this book because it had lots of adventure and good illustrations. I think my best friend Carter would like this book, because he loves adventures.

Five orphans are sent on a ship to who knows where? A boy named Peter meets a girl named Molly. He discovers her secret, and you'll have to read this book to find out what happens in the horrible ship wreck! I liked this book because it was adventurous, but it wasn't cheesy either, like some books are. Anyone who can read would like this book!

Ragweed

This book is about a golden mouse named Ragweed who seeks adventure
so he goes into the city but he runs into trouble by CATS and being different. But he has to save all of the mice from the horrible club F.E.A.R. run by the two most know cats it's up to Ragweed to save the day and the mice. I like that Ragweed is brave and scared out of his wits. I think that Avi is a wonderful author because he has a mind of a kid which makes anybody love his many books.

This book is about a girl named Belle Wood who is living during the time when Texas was a part of Mexico. Belle's family and lots friends end up fleeing the Mexico or going to war against them. I liked this book because it has information about the war against Mexico, but also the drama of the life during 1835-1836. I would recommend this book to 2nd to 4th graders.

by Lemony Snicket.

It's about 3 children that lost their parents in a fire. They travel to different cities and visit different relatives. But as they travel, every relative has something unfortunate. Read to find out what happens. I liked this book series because as you read these books, a dictionary creates in your head and you learn unusual words. I think someone who loves sad books would like this book

Tigers at twilight

Tigers at Twilight is about two kids named Annie and Jack. In the story, Annie and Jack go to a jungle in India with a dog named teddy. I liked this book because It's a really exciting story and it's very adventurous. I think my little brother would like it because he loves adventure stories.

This book is about a boy and a girl named Jack and Annie sent off to find a wizard's eye. I really like this book because of the suspense like when they almost got eaten by the frost giant and were chased by two wolves. This book is really for almost everybody, but especially 2nd and 3rd graders.
