Gifts to the Archives
Gifts of books, photographs, postcards, family and organizational records, and monetary gifts are always welcome. Gifts and bequests of materials are accepted by the Archives staff with the understanding that they are judged on the basis of the Archives Collection Development Management. Materials that fall outside the scope of this policy are not added to the collection. The Archives accepts gifts accompanied by restrictions as to their use or eventual disposal only with the formal approval of the Director of Special Collections. Donations are tax-exempt. Donors are responsible for assigning a value to gift items. Individuals wishing to donate materials are encouraged to contact the Archives.
